ASTM B725 specifies the material composition, manufacturing process and testing requirements for Monel nickel alloy welded pipes. Monel alloy has nickel as the main component, usually containing more than 60% nickel, and contains copper and a small amount of iron, manganese, carbon, etc. This nickel-copper alloy has excellent corrosion resistance, especially for seawater, brine, hydrofluoric acid and other highly corrosive media.
