Quality Control System
·Raw Material Inspection
Upon arrival, the QC team verifies material certificates and heat/melt numbers. Tests such as PMI and chemical composition analysis are conducted as required to confirm compliance with order specifications.
·Production Process Control
Production status is tracked via process cards during forging, heat treatment, and CNC machining. Quality checks and records for critical process steps are maintained to facilitate subsequent reviews.
·Final Inspection
Following the completion of processing, products undergo visual and dimensional inspections. Additional testing such as PT or UT is arranged as required to ensure the delivered products meet customer acceptance criteria.
Inspection Methods
Penetrant Testing (PT) is a non-destructive testing method used to detect surface-breaking defects. By allowing a penetrant to enter minute surface flaws and subsequently applying a developer to reveal their locations, this method can identify issues such as surface cracks and porosity on pipe fittings.
For Alloy 601 butt-weld fittings, PT is typically employed to inspect bevel areas, machined surfaces, and general surface conditions, helping to verify the surface quality of the product.
Radiographic Testing (RT) utilizes radiographic imaging technology to examine the internal condition of the product, enabling the detection of internal cracks, inclusions, or other discontinuities. For the welded areas of pipe fittings, RT helps verify the quality of the internal structure.
