How are BW fittings manufactured?
The manufacturing process for Alloy 625 butt-weld fittings includes raw material inspection, cutting, forming, heat treatment, machining, end beveling, surface treatment, and final inspection.
MTSCO’s partner factory, Hongdi, is equipped with CNC machining, forming, and heat treatment equipment, enabling the completion of the entire manufacturing process—from forming to final product inspection. Standardized process management ensures consistent production quality across various specifications of nickel alloy fittings.

Solution Heat Treatment
Solution heat treatment is a critical step in the manufacturing of nickel alloy fittings. By controlling heating temperatures and cooling rates, the material's internal microstructure is optimized, residual stresses from processing are reduced, and material properties remain stable.
For Alloy 625 butt-weld fittings, proper heat treatment enhances long-term performance in high-temperature environments, making them suitable for use in heat treatment equipment, chemical processing plants, and high-temperature fluid systems.
How Does MTSCO Achieve “Zero-Defect” Quality?
Raw Material Control
Before raw materials enter production, the QC team verifies the Material Test Certificate (MTC) and material specifications. They also conduct Positive Material Identification (PMI) and other relevant tests to confirm compliance with standards.
Production Process Control
Key manufacturing stages are tracked using process cards and QC inspection records to ensure that product details align with order requirements.
Pre-Shipment Inspection
Before shipment, products undergo inspections covering appearance, dimensions, sealing surfaces, markings, and packaging. All inspection records and packing details are archived to facilitate product traceability for customers during project acceptance and subsequent management.
