• Raw Material Control

We perform PMI (Positive Material Identification) on Alloy 601 / UNS N06601 raw materials to minimize the risk of material mix-ups or incorrect material usage.

• In-Production Control

Key processes—including forming, automatic welding, heat treatment, sizing, and surface treatment—are documented via process cards. QC personnel photograph and record critical production stages, keeping clients informed of production status and ensuring full process traceability for every batch of welded tubes.

• Pre-Shipment Inspection

Before shipment, we inspect appearance, dimensions, end conditions, and packaging integrity. We also arrange specific tests—such as PMI, UT (Ultrasonic Testing), ET (Eddy Current Testing), HT (Hydrostatic Testing), mechanical property testing, and chemical composition analysis—based on order requirements.

 

What inspections have our products undergone?

Alloy 601 welded tubes can undergo visual inspection, dimensional checks, PMI, eddy current testing, ultrasonic testing, hydrostatic testing, mechanical property testing, and chemical composition analysis, depending on order specifications. For tubes intended for heat treatment furnaces, inspection focuses primarily on material verification, weld seam continuity, consistency of outer diameter and wall thickness, and surface condition.

 

Eddy current testing is ideal for detecting surface or near-surface anomalies; hydrostatic testing verifies the tube's pressure-bearing integrity; and PMI confirms the nickel alloy grade. Combining these inspection methods allows clients to verify the condition of the tubing prior to assembly in high-temperature equipment, thereby reducing risks associated with subsequent processing, installation, and operation.
