Why Choose MTSCO for Welded Pipe?
MTSCO has been deeply engaged in the CRA (Corrosion-Resistant Alloy) piping sector for nearly 20 years, specializing in the supply of piping products made from stainless steel, duplex steel, nickel alloys, and other corrosion-resistant materials. For project-specific orders such as Alloy 800 welded pipe, MTSCO provides comprehensive service, ranging from pre-sales specification confirmation and in-process production monitoring to post-sales technical support. We ensure product quality and delivery reliability through our own integrated supply chain and quality control systems.
Contact MTSCO to experience superior piping products and exceptional service at a competitive value.
Manufacturing Process
Alloy 800 welded pipes are manufactured from high-quality nickel alloy plates. Raw materials undergo rigorous verification of composition and specifications upon arrival. They are then precision-cut and formed into pipe shells using RBE or bending forming methods. High-quality weld joints are achieved through a combined PAW (Plasma Arc Welding) and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) process. Subsequent steps including heat treatment, rounding, machining, and surface finishing, result in a high-quality final product.

Welding & Weld Inspection
MTSCO welded pipes utilize the PAW + GTAW welding process. PAW offers concentrated energy, facilitating precise control over weld bead formation, while GTAW provides a stable welding process ideal for nickel alloys. Combining these two techniques enhances weld continuity and process stability.
MTSCO offers Radiographic Testing (RT) services to accurately detect internal defects such as porosity, slag inclusions, lack of fusion, and cracks. These are complemented by PT (Liquid Penetrant Testing), UT (Ultrasonic Testing), hydrostatic testing, and dimensional verification to ensure comprehensive quality assurance prior to shipment.

FAQ
Q1: How are the welded pipes packaged?
A1: Welded pipes are typically packaged in woven bags, with pipe ends protected by caps or tape to prevent damage and the ingress of foreign objects. Large-diameter pipes feature wooden supports at the ends to prevent deformation during transport.
Q2: Can the pipe length and end treatment be customized?
A2: Yes. MTSCO offers customized lengths and end treatments (such as plain ends or beveled ends) to ensure ease of installation.
Q3: What are the advantages of the 12m length?
A3: 12m welded pipes reduce the number of on-site connection points, making them ideal for large-scale pipelines and project-based installations.
