What are the material properties of duplex stainless steel?
1.4462 (2205) and 1.4410 (2507) duplex steels strictly adhere to the solution heat treatment process specified in the A789 standard, ensuring an ideal 1:1 ratio of austenite to ferrite. The products feature high yield strength and excellent resistance to hydrogen sulfide cracking. In the acidic gathering and transportation environments of oilfield operations, ordinary pipes are highly susceptible to localized pitting corrosion. In the quality inspection phase, the production line is equipped with in-line eddy current testing units and non-destructive testing equipment, complemented by a digital, full-process data recording system.
