Duplex Steel Welded Tube
Austenitic / Duplex Steel / Nickel Alloy / Cobalt Alloy
What makes our products stand out?
· Pure, Original-Source Materials: Steel strips are sourced directly from top manufacturers such as TSINGSHAN and Baosteel. Undergoes 100% PMI re-inspection upon arrival at our facility, ensuring high purity and excellent resistance to hydrogen sulfide cracking.
·Oxygen-free bright surface: Utilizes an automated in-line bright annealing process, with heat treatment completed in a sealed protective atmosphere. The finished tubes feature bright inner and outer walls free of oxidation layers and achieve an ideal 1:1 ratio of austenite to ferrite.
·Safe and Reliable Pressure Resistance: Before shipment, all products must pass 100% in-line eddy current testing and hydraulic pressure testing. We comprehensively verify the pressure integrity of the tubes using objective non-destructive testing data to ensure zero leakage during on-site fluid transportation.

Single Process Introduction: Bright Annealing
Bright annealing is a critical process for ensuring the surface quality of precision welded tubes. The tubes undergo high-temperature heating and rapid cooling in a sealed, protective atmosphere furnace, preventing the formation of an oxide layer on the surface. MTSCO’s duplex steel welded tubes are exclusively produced using this heat treatment process. This results in finished tubes with exceptionally bright and smooth inner and outer surfaces, as well as uniform internal microstructure, eliminating the need for customers to perform complex post-processing during subsequent use.

Material Properties Of Duplex Steel
2205 and 2507 duplex steels undergo strict solution heat treatment to ensure a balanced austenite-ferrite phase structure. These materials feature high yield strength and excellent resistance to hydrogen sulfide cracking. These small-diameter tubes are primarily used to address the risk of localized pitting corrosion in surface gathering and high-pressure instrumentation loop systems. They can replace conventional austenitic stainless steel, effectively extending the service life of pipelines in acidic environments.
FAQ
Q1: What changes occur to the surface of 1/2-inch duplex steel welded tubes after bright annealing?
A1: The inner and outer surfaces of the tubes become bright, smooth, and free of oxide layers. Additionally, this process completely eliminates residual processing stresses, ensuring the tubes’ excellent corrosion resistance.
Q2: How is this product packaged, and can it withstand impacts during long-distance sea transport?
A2: We employ high-standard protective measures: tube caps are applied to both ends, each tube is individually wrapped in a plastic bag, and the entire batch is finally packed into plywood crates. This effectively prevents damage from maritime humidity and transport impacts.
Q3: What certifications do you hold for access to international engineering projects?
A3: We hold ISO, PED, AD2000, and NORSOK M650 certifications. We provide complete factory material certificates, which can directly assist you in quickly passing material reviews by international project owners.
